Glass differs from paint in porosity and composition, so the ceramic used for glass is distinct from paint coatings. The glass-specific formulation bonds tightly to the silica in the glass surface, creating a hydrophobic (water-repelling) layer. Application begins with thorough glass cleaning and polishing to remove road film, mineral deposits, and dirt. We then wipe the glass with IPA (isopropyl alcohol) to remove oils.
